A lot of people, and Shrek too, have been in situations where life doesn’t go the way they want, even they try very hard. They have hit walls and given up after being totally discouraged. They have set goals that they couldn’t achieve because of forces beyond their control. And they have unexpectedly lost great opportunities they were sure would turn everything around in their lives and solve their problems.
We often have some ideas where things are headed, and we may even have some goals that we’re passionate about – but at the end of the day life rarely turns out exactly the way we expected.
